  • Describe a problem you had at another job and what you did to handle it.

  • Have you ever been physically attacked? How did you respond?

  • You may be on the job for a long time without anything appearing to be wrong, how do you plan on staying focused and ready for any possible situation at any time?

  • Do you work well in a team? If so, why?

  • What is something you can take from this experience and apply it to your future career or goals?

  • What's a weakness you have and how do you deal with it?

  • Do you consider yourself to be attentive to detail?

  • You see two people getting into an argument that starts to escalate into physical violence, what steps do you follow?

  • Describe a time when you solved an issue without getting physical, only using calm words.

  • What does security mean to you?

  • What is a situation that would require you to call for back-up or ask for help?

  • At times, you may act as a host, as you are often the first person people see when they walk in, so are you comfortable with talking to people and being personable?

  • What are some safety precautions you had to follow from previous jobs?

  • Describe a time you had to defend yourself or a client.
